Paul is 53 years old and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 19. Luckily he had Carol to care for him 24 hours a day but as his condition gradually declined, Carol struggled to care for Paul on her own. They decided to seek government assistance to get help with Paul's personal care and to give Carol some much needed respite.

They secured supports through Central Coast Community Connections who brokered to Accuro Home Care to provide these supports. Eventually they were given an NDIS package and chose Accuro Home Care to be their support provider. The support Paul receives include;

  • Personal Care
  • Respite
  • Domestic Support

"I was really impressed with the staff. Paul smiles whenever the carer arrives. They are always friendly and on time. Accuro is the most helpful Home Care organisation I have dealt with. I call them the A team" - Carol

These supports have enabled Paul to enjoy living in his home for longer and also given Carol some time to herself, improving the quality of life for both. Carol has even managed to get her black belt in Karate! Something that would not be possible without home care assistance.
